This page takes you to the Anfield Bicycle Club's collection of photographs. The earliest include formal studio group portraits of the Anfield and Bootle Bicycle Clubs. But in addition there are outdoors photos too, many of which were taken at the Anfield Bicycle Club's favourite touring destination, Betws-y-coed in North Wales. One image (p_1880s_018_m) shows the type of camera used. From the end of the nineteenth century the images became increasingly informal "snapshots" taken using cameras carried by members on their bicycles.
